Open your eyes to the invisible wounds of war. Help us make them visible
The signs of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) go unnoticed because our servicemembers don't know what they have, much less how to treat it.
The fact is, over 625,000 servicemembers, nearly one in seven who served, are living with the signature wounds of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We cannot let them face this alone.
In 2010, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund built the National Intrepid Center of Excellence in Bethesda, MD. Now we need your help in raising money to build nine satellite rehabilitation centers across the country. These state-of-the-art facilities will provide our returning veterans suffering from TBI and PTS the highest quality care our nation has to offer.
Together, we can help expose, and heal, the invisible wounds of war.

100% of the funds raised will help build nine NICoe satellite centers that will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of TBI and PTS. Each center will be modeled after our main NICoE facillity in Bethesda and will incorporate key components including:
Intake/Clinic Facilities dedicated to the psychiatric testing, chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, neurological psych testing and examinations.
Physical Therapy Areas featuring an open-gym layout with adjustable mat, tables, parallel bars, treadmills, alter-G gait trainer, and other therapy equipment.
Sleep Lap equipped with a sleep system, ambient therapy music and control room with a computer monitoring system.
Family Room: a reprieve space for patients and family to spend time together and take a break from the clinical treatment regime.
